artist Ronnie McClure has desired to share his peculiar vision and passion for image-making since the time he frequently heard people saying,
you see things differently.

Being among the first generation of artists to embrace digital technology, he combines photographs of objects from reality with expressions of his inner vision through painted pixels, pigmented inks, and prismacolor pencils.

Time and timelessness, it keeps the mind on what matters – a desire to gaze and wonder, to stand still and be astonished, and, be drawn to God’s expansive and generative reality. In my images I attempt to connect the visible and invisible worlds primarily in landscapes whose objects and structures symbolize the human relationship to nature, nature being one place where I envision the Shekinah — the presence of God clearly yet mysteriously manifested.

It is my hope that I am helping others either to discover or nurture a faith through art, or more broadly to become transformed by art in some positively significant way.
